Four Baskets Dreamwork
Our dreams love to tell the stories of our experiences in the womb and birth! Through the Four Baskets Healing Journey, we learn simple steps to work intentionally with these dreams. I was honored to work with a woman recently who said, like so many of us do, “I don’t remember my dreams.” Then as I described some helpful ways to ask for a Four Baskets dream and mentioned some of the common symbols that show up in these dreams, she recalled a dream that she had many years ago that has always stuck with her. Her story is a very powerful example of how working with our Four Baskets can transform our lives.
OM, a sacred template for the Four Baskets
OM—you are probably familiar with this sound, you may have heard it in a spiritual documentary or even chanted it yourself at the end of a yoga class. OM, more correctly written AUM, has been described as the primordial sound of creation, the mathematical code of the universe, the vibration from which everything arises, the secret seed of life, death and creation, a representation of the infinite consciousness of God.
It has been said that if we understand AUM, we understand our very existence and our full potential…. that is what the Four Baskets is all about! I knew that the AUM had to be innately tied to the Four Baskets journey. So, I set out to find out if that was true, here is what I discovered…
Spiral to the Center
…the Four Baskets journey helps us become aware of ourselves at the most basic level-- tracing the threads and patterns of our lives to their origin, like tracing a spiral back to the center -- where we find our blueprint of wholeness, and remember our intrinsic connection to a unified whole. That is where we can step fully into a realization of a connected mind-body-spirit; a knowing that we are inseparable from nature; an embodiment of oneness with all others and the divine. ..
